POSITION OBJECTIVES

Responsible for the guidance/support/direction/discipline and general supervision of staff and students in the Childcare service
To develop the program reflecting the Early Years Learning Framework guidelines.
Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children, with particular attention to children with anaphylaxis, allergies, asthma etc.
To liaise with families in regards to the day to day happenings.
To promote good parent/Centre relationships
To actively support and co-operate with other staff in their child-care duties
To maintain observations and records of individual children's progress, particularly those identified through staff observation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma-level early childhood qualification
Have the capacity to build a culture of thinking in practice and continuous improvement
Hold the view of long term employment within this role
Have open-mindedness and patience
Current Working With Children Card
